Welcome to Entrada Recordings, the home of forward-thinking rhythm and bass. Formed by Leo Moyza and Ben Wijay in 2008 as a medium for their collaborations, Entrada is also home to fellow Englishman Kloke. Over the last year, these three producers have been exploring the leftfield of dubstep and techno together, pricking up ears and picking up plaudits along the way. Entrada has already built a solid reputation with those in the know; a string of digital-only single and EP releases have won rave reviews and earned strong support from DJs as varied as Martyn, Mr Scruff and the Stanton Warriors. Entrada Volume One sees the cream of this back catalogue - plus two exclusive, previously unreleased tracks - mixed together to create a collection of the imprint's finest moments so far. Imagined as a transmission picked up in the far reaches of outer space, this is a journey into adventurous electronic music, veering from cinematic sweeps to warehouse bleeps via swung beats and cone-rattling bottom end. It's an invitation to explore a label that references pioneers like Good Looking, Underground Resistance and Metalheadz whilst charting a course all of its own.
